PWW 3 Round Mock Draft – Ryan Sjoberg
1.30: Brandon Aiyuk – WR – ASU
Brandon Aiyuk just looks like a Packer and it’s not even draft day yet. What I consider to be the top wideout after the ‘Big Four’ of Lamb, Juedy, Jefferson and Ruggs, the Sun Devil prospect is a yards after catch monster. According to Pro Football Focus, Aiyuk has the highest YAC of any draft eligible wide receiver, averaging 9.9 yards after the catch. It doesn’t hurt he posted an ‘elite’ Relative Athletic Score at the combine, potentially putting him in the center of the Packer’s radar.
ON THE BOARD: Carlos Ruiz – IO – Michigan, Ezra Cleveland – OT – Boise State, Russ Blacklock – IDL – TCU.
2.32: Kyle Dugger – S – Lenoir-Rhyne
The board did not fall as I had hoped so best player available was the play here in the 2nd round. Kyle Dugger comes from DII Lenoir-Rhyne and might be one of the most athletic players in the whole draft. Posting a 9.57 ‘elite’ RAS at the combine, Dugger tested out well in near every drill. With a verticle jump of 42 inches, broad jump of 11 feet and 40 time under 4.5, Dugger can easily play sideline to sideline, allowing Darnell Savage to move around in the defense.
ON THE BOARD: Lloyd Cushenberry III – IOL – LSU, Bryce Hall – CB – Virginia.
3.94: Ben Bartch – OT – St. Johns (MN, DIII)
Here we go, my run on small school players continues as Ben Bartch is the pick. Bartch is a Division III product, beginning his career at tight end for Division III St. Johns before undergoing an unbelievable body and physical transformation in order to play tackle. Bartch will not be ready year one, he is a little more developmental. He does however have one of the highest ceilings for an offensive lineman in all of this draft though, so the value is here.
ON THE BOARD: Tyler Biadasz – IOL – Wisconsin, Matthew Peart – OT – UCONN, Darnay Holmes – CB – UCLA, Troy Dye – ILB – Oregon.
